Politics?

Democrats launched an ‘Anti-Limbaugh‘ petition today after conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh’s recent statements claiming he hoped president Obama would fail. Seriously government people, get to work already. No one cares about the statements of some flake on the radio. Do something about the mess we’re in already and stop f****ing around. What is this, preschool?

Oh boy. Sometimes I feel like you and I are more mature than the democrats and Rush Limbaugh combined! Personally, I am very excited about President Obama. I feel like he is what this country has needed for a long time. I am patriotic, but it's not a put on. But I agree that the government/news anchors/blokes on radio shows should just grow up. As for Limbaugh, have a little respect man. When it comes down to it, we are all just humans. Why can't we show a little respect for our brothers and sisters?

people are all flawed yes, but some are just more flawed than others. the fact that obama is president doesnt change the fact that he's just as flawed as us, the only difference is it's much easier for the public to see and criticize his flaws. i agree that it shows that your are noble when you respect others regardless of their differences. However, we humans make our own decisions and choose our beliefs, so it is no wonder why we choose our leaders to benefit ourselves. Respect has little to do with matters of security or survival. we are selfish creatures and respect for more flawed individuals is just unnatural and it takes great strength to do that. However, it takes even greater strength to share your thoughts and disgree with popular opinions. It's the way that Limbaugh did it that made me lose my respect for him.
